A brand new Batman Game has been announced today. After a few days of leaks and speculations, Game Informer has finally gone live with it's cover, which officially reveals the title Batman Arkham Knight.
Some information has been revealed, such as this entry in the series will be the "Explosive " conclusion to the series created by Rock Steady. There's also information that the Batmobile will be a core gameplay element, which means Gotham city will be larger then it's been in previous titles.
The game's director, Sefton Hill , had this to say about the game "This is the natural end for the story. We really want to go out in style"
Scarecrow, Penguin, Two-Face, and Harley Quinn are set to return as villains in the upcoming game. It's being target for Xbox One and PlayStation 4, as well as PC, being a next gen exclusive game. There are also rumors speculating it's release date, in which game stop has listed the title for October 14 2014. Although not confirmed, this date does not seem far fetched, considering that Tuesday is the traditional date in the U.S were games are released.
More details will be revealed in the near future. I'm for one excited to see what RockSteady will do with it's conclusion to the Arkham story line, And what will the game be like without a Joker vs. Batman focused plot? Should be interesting.
