TV News: Could Leonardo DiCaprio Join Boardwalk Empire?

Boardwalk Empire's  producer and writer Terence Winter has recently worked with Leonardo DiCaprio on the upcoming film Wolf Of Wall Street. The writer has brought up the possibility about having the actor play some role on the hit HBO television series. In an interview with The Wrap, Winter revealed that he hasn't asked the actor, but isn't ruling out the  possibility and would jump at the chance.

Here is what Terence had to say while sitting down with The Wrap " That would be awesome, I never even thought to ask him because he’s so unbelievably busy. That was his fourth movie in a row and I believe he was going to take some time off, so that wasn't even a possibility. But God, if he would ever do it? I obviously would welcome that. We got Martin Scorsese to do it. Why not?”

Yes....Yes....A million times yes. If the powers-that-be could be so generous and have him on the show..it'd be so exciting. Obviously, I'm not getting my hopes up, he is an incredibly busy actor and he may just be a bit too expensive, on a show that already costs them an arm and leg. But I can guarantee it would definitely boost the profile of this show.  It may even tip it over to being as popular or as watched as Game Of Thrones

But who would he play? Maybe a Gangster from the time period. Maybe a business man who rivals Nucky or Arnold Rothstein. Or a long lost relative to Jimmy Darmody, a older brother or cousin who arrives to Atlantic City after hearing of police finding his body, I always did feel that he and Micheal Pitt looked alike. It would be interesting if that was the case. I'm not sure what kind of story line would play out, but it'd be exciting and they could get Micheal Pitt back to film some flash back scenes
