Remember when the PS4 released and Sony hyped it up by creating a challenge competition involving the machine called "First To Greatness'?
No?
Yes?
Well it seems that Sony has developed a follow up "The Road To Greatness". Adopting a grass roots method of promotion, Sony will be take the brand new console on the road. That's right it's "PlayStation 4 The Tour!"
So by now you are wondering what this could possibly like...The "tour" will allow gamers to come and play new unreleased PlayStation 4 and PS Vita games. They would also be able to participate in daily competitions and win ,yet to be revealed, prizes.
Now keep in mind this is North America only. That's about all that's been announced right. If I was a betting man I would bet that Sony will do something similar in other countries as well, but that remains to be seen.
However, down below you can see the dates as well as locations for the upcoming tour:
Stagecoach Music Festival (Indio, CA) - April 25-27
Beale Street Music Festival (Memphis, TN) - May 2-4
NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (Kansas City, MO) - May 9-10
Rock on the Range (Columbus, OH) - May 16-18
Rocklahoma (Tulsa, OK) - May 23-25
Free Press Summer Festival (Houston, TX) - May 31-June 1
Country Jam (Grand Junction, CO) - June 19-22
Summerfest (Milwaukee, WI) -- June 25-July 6
MLB FanFest (Minneapolis, MN) -- July 11-15
As you can see these are locations that don't get a lot of love from the gaming industry, which if anything will just further the positive PR Sony has been getting from gamers.
