A trilogy bundle for Fable has been announced. the bundle will include the remake of fable called, Fable Anniversary which will update the game graphically and bring it to the Xbox 360 for the first time. Also included in this bundle is Fable II and Fable III which shouldn't come as a surprise as it's a trilogy bundle.
Fable Anniversary will include the DLC Lost Chapters which was released for the game originally, while DLC for Fable II and III you'll still have to buy separately.
Micorsoft commented on the new bundle saying "The Fable Trilogy bundle in the Xbox Marketplace is real and in development. The bundle will include full Xbox 360 titles for Fable Anniversary, Fable II, and Fable III. We're excited to share official details regarding the release soon on Lionhead.com"
The bundle will hit exclusively to Xbox Live Market place on February 4th in North America, and February 7th in Europe. It should also be noted that Fable Anniversary will be available separately the same day as the bundle after a delay.
No details on pricing yet or any other release dates, but stay tuned to Lionhead.com for more info.
Fable has some great lore behind it and relatively speaking, are great RPG's to get into. While I'll say Fable II is the stronger of them franchise, others will argue it's the first. While I didn't hate Fable III at all, I thought it was a fun game, a portion of it's fan base loathed it. So that's something to consider. I may look into playing Fable Anniversary and seeing how it compares to the original.
Either way I'm sure it's going to be a great value, even if it's 60$ the price for buying all three games individually if at full price would run you about 180$, so I have to say, if you don't own these games and are looking for something new, get this bundle. You can spend a good 30 hours playing one of these games, and 90 if you play through all of them.
