Movie News: 2016 May Be Just As Crazy

There is no doubt that 2015 is going to be crazy year for blockbusters, and big tentpole films. We have The Avengers: Age Of Ultron, Super Man vs Batman, Terminator: Genesis, Jurassic World, Fantastic Four reboot, Ant-Man, Star Wars: Episode 7, Fifty Shades Of Grey, Poltergiest Remake, The Purge 2, Insidious 3, Fast and Furious 7, new Friday The 13th, Mad Max: Fury Road, Ted 2,Assassin's Creed and Bourne 5.

Yeah this summer is gonna be crazy. Sadly, a lot of movies may strike out due to blockbuster fatigue. Hollywood is really making some unwise and scary decisions. Looking at check-lists and math instead of heart, soul and creativity. However, if you think 2015 is going to be insane, well 2016 is shaping up to be just as wild

Planet Of The Apes 3 has already settled on July 29th 2016 or it's release date, as it's been confirmed by fox. However that's not the only big blockbuster we have coming for 2016. Avatar is looking to make a comeback, with it's sequel coming in 2016. Independence Day 2 has already got July 1st down, coming close to it's 20th anniversary.

We also got a movie based on Angry Birds coming in 2016, Ice Age 5  as well looking to round out the month of July. Other movies that are coming? well, we have Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, X-Men: Apocalypse, How To Train Your Dragon 3, The Amazing Spider-Man 3, Finding Dory, and Alice In Wonderland 2

I can promise you this list will grow. Star Trek 3 can also fit into this list somewhere, provided they are trying to get it out relatively soon. So yeah, everyone start saving up for the next two years, I know I'll be broke after going to see all these movies.

I just wonder how long this business model that Hollywood has adopted can be sustained. I mean i buy into the hype, I'm guilty of that, but I know at some point I will get sick of all these big blockbusters and sequels. I would like to see more risks. Then again, I'm probably preaching to the choir
