Deus Ex: The Fall will be making the jump from IOS and Android platforms to Steam on March 25th 2014. The steam release will be available for €9.99, £7.99 and $9.99.
Square Enix added that "if you pre-order the game now (or grab it for a limited time after launch) you’ll also get the original Deus Ex – Game of the Year Edition as well, for free."
The game will feature both Keyboard and Controller functionality and has been re-balanced for the removal of In-App purchases.
Deus Ex: The Fall was just released on Android last month, while the original IOS version was released July 11th 2013.
I find that pre-orders are inherently bad and you should wait until the game is released and pay attention to the reviews, and what everyone is saying about the game. Even though for fans of the series, playing the original for free may be too hard to pass up.
Deus Ex: Human Revolution was a really excellent PC port, so hopefully The Fall can make the jump to PC with no problems. It could even turn out to be a better game with it off the smartphone platform.
