Telltale and Gearbox software have both collaborated to bring us Tales From The Borderlands. The game will be in the same style as previous Telltale entries, such as The Walking Dead or Wolf Among Us. The game is set in the same fictional universe as the FPS-shooter Borderland. The game was announced on VGX by Gearbox and Telltale leads.
It will feature old and new characters, who are wanna-be vault hunters. There isn't any details on what characters we'll play, but more information will be announced later on, for now enjoy this trailer.
This is a pairing you wouldn't expect, as Telltale doesn't make action heavy games, and borderlands is a FPS franchise, it's an interesting mash-up. I never got into borderlands or it's universe but provided that this game is good, then this will be a cool way for me to experience franchise's universe.
