So I've avoided writing this for as long as I can...but I decided last night, that I would no longer write impressions of tv shows. There's three specific reasons for this and they all are equally important.
#1 Quality- This too me, is the biggest issue I have with doing impression pieces, I'm not always 100% satisfied with the quality of writing, They're always written late at night after watching the show, and I'm mostly brain dead by the time I'm done. I don't have the ability or skill to write a meaningful paragraph on an episode.
#2 Organization- Even though this is related to TV, I feel writing these impressions, is off focus for the blog as a whole. I've focused this blog to report the news as I find it, and add some of my views and opinions occasionally. I think these posts take away from that goal.
#3 Motivation- I just really lack the motivation to write these, it really sucks the fun out of watching the shows for me. I love to share my thoughts but I think it would be better to share them in a limited format then writing a full paragraph on them.
I honestly don't know, these impressions may make a return in some format. For now though, I will be removing all the Impressions posts. I'm really sorry if you enjoyed those posts, I hope you'll understand and will continue to read.
