A trophy leaked last night on PS3 that seems to hint that Black Beard will become a playable class in the game's multiplayer. Blackbeard will be one of three new classes the other two being The Orchid and The Jaguar. The DLC hasn't officially been announced or priced but due to the recent leak I expect we'll here something soon.
I've never personally got into the multiplayer, from what I hear it's enjoyable. These new character classes maybe exciting to some, to spice up the online matches. However, I prefer story mode DLC almost always or at least new side mission packs. I would assume that this DLC and any future DLC will be available with the game's season pass.
