The upcoming return of the Terminator Franchise is going to be helmed by Alan Taylor, director of Thor: The Dark World, with Arnold Schwarzenegger returning to his Iconic role as the titular Terminator. Although, no additional cast members are attached, reports reveal that screen testing is scheduled. The iconic characters of Sarah Connor, Kyle Reese and John Connor are all returning and here are some of the actors on the shortlist. Emilia Clark, who is known for her role as Daenerys Targaryen, is currently being eyed for the role of Sarah Connor as well as Brie Larson and Margot Robie. Garret Hedlund and other unnamed actors being approached for the role of Kyle Reese. Tom hardy is also in the running to play John Connor.
It appears as though the new terminator is actually a complete reboot or retelling of the original Terminator. Still it's exciting that they got Arnold back. Anyone else just won't do as the Terminator. it appears as though Arny is gonna be the main baddy again which is pretty exciting. This is planned to be start of a brand new trilogy, i honestly hope this film turns out good. the first two films in the series were epic, however 3 and 4 were awful. I would love to see Emilia Clark play Sarah Connor and i hope Tom hardy get's cast John Connor i think they'd be perfect fit in those roles.
