Breaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan has signed a Multi-Year deal with Sony TV to continue to create high quality programming for for the studio. Sony TV's president Jamie Erlicht had this to saw about the new deal "Vince is an incredible writer and partner, and he shares our vision for the business and for the kinds of projects we’re passionate about. There wasn’t a world where we weren’t making this deal"
It's not surprising the Vince Gilligan would be kept close to Sony's chest...not only is he talented, but his Breaking Bad brought in 10 million viewers for it's closing Episode. While Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul take on big blockbusters such as Godzilla and Need For Speed respectively. Vince Gilligan is supposedly working on a spin off show from breaking bad called Better Call Saul. He has another show getting ready to air on CBS called Battle Creek.
There isn't a whole lot of information on the specifics of this deal, but If Sony is willing to allow Vince create exciting shows, brilliant shows and keep his creative vision. Support his creative vision, then it will be an amazing relationship moving forward.
