Well i never thought i'd write this post...Dwayne Johnson will be taking on a more dramatic role in the upcoming film Not Without Hope playing NFL player Nick Schulyer. The movie will be an adaption of the best selling memoir by Nick Schyler himself. The film is getting made by Relatively Media. Not much else is known about the upcoming project and No release date has been set yet.
Here is what Variety had to say about the upcoming flick "along with NFL players Marquis Cooper and Corey Smith, and Schuyler's best friend, Will Bleakley, a former University of South Florida football player -- who were on a fishing trip in the Gulf of Mexico when their boat capsized, stranding the four men at sea. In the days that followed, the men fought to survive as they awaited to see if help would come."
Dwayne Johnson is continuing to be one of Hollywood's most active stars, after filming Fast & Furious 7 and Hercules, he'll be moving on to this project as well as multiple other films in the pipe line such as SEAL Team 666, San Andreas and Lore.
