Yupp, that's right, Warner is currently negotiating to bring the hit mobile game, Temple Run to the big screen. Harry Potter and Gravity producer David Heyman is involved. Not much else is known about the potential deal but expect to hear a lot more from this if the deal is secured.
I really hate it when Hollywood takes a game with no plot, and attempts to turn it to some big block buster hit. It's lazy and cheap and a little too safe. But, given David Heyman's track record, i think he maybe able to bring a decent flick to the screen. There really isn't any information on what format they're looking for, weather it's animated or live action. However, if this isn't anything but a Comedy film, it's gonna fall flat on it's face. Hollywood, i'm pleading with you please don't turn this into a serious film, we don't need an Indiana Jones rip-off.
