Gaming News: 10,000 PS4's Have Been Resold On Ebay

In true Capitalist spirit, a rather large group of consumers who bought the 399$ console hoped to make a quick buck by re-selling the machine at an up-scaled price anywhere between 500-600$ to those who are desperate to get their hands on the new console. PS4 has been pretty sold out in a lot of places, so there are those who maybe missed the launch day or are trying to get a PS4 that isn't bricked.

According to Ebay there are over 10,000 PS4 listings between November15th to November 17th just a three day span. As of today there are over 13,000 listings. To be clear, this isn't returns of the system, this most likely isn't people selling the machine because they are unhappy with the system, this is individuals hoping to make money off a new product. A product which is now hard to come by until new shipments go out. Since the launch of the new PS4 14,000 consoles have been sold of previous generations, up 25% .

The  PS4's launch has been mixed, it had a strong launch, selling 1 million in it's first 24 hours, the first console to do this and all in one country. But it's software line up has received mixed reception and there has been reports coming in about the machine breaking/bricking. Thought I'm positive this machine will be successful there still isn't any evidence of exactly how successful it will be and how it will stack up to the Xbox One.

How do you feel about the re-sells? Has the PS4 lived up to expectations? Has your console caused issues? Comment Below!
