The Spirited Away director Hayao Miyazaki's latest film The Wind Rises, is heading to the U.S February 21st. The official U.S trailer debuted today, the film is a historical fantasy based on the manga of the same name which is in turn based off a short story Tatsuo Hori a Japanese 20th century writer and poet. It was orginally released in Japan on July 20th 2013. It will be Hayao Miyazaki's final film as he plans on retiring from directing.
If you're like me and you adore Spirited Away, then i highly recommend you watch this film. It's sad to see Hayao retire, Japan is losing a truly talented feature film maker. I hope whatever he chooses to do in the future he is successful.
